About the role

O'Reilly's Rainforest Retreat is a seeking reliable, experienced and dedicated gardener to join our maintenance team. This is a full-time position based in the Gold Coast hinterland, Queensland, with the opportunity to work in a stunning, natural environment. As part of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running and upkeep of our renowned Rainforest Retreat.

What you'll be doing

• Perform general garden maintenance on our beautiful grounds

• Identify and address issues proactively

• Provide garden expertise, with bush regeneration an advantage

• Ensure a high standard of presentation that contributes positively to guest experience

• Be part of a dynamic and diverse team

What we're looking for

• Proven experience in a similar maintenance role, ideally within the hospitality or tourism industry

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset

• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, to support our 24/7 operations

• Being "on call" one night per week to cover maintenance call outs.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

• Current driver's license
