About the Opportunity

Programmed Electrical Technologies is seeking an organised and motivated Project Coordinator to support the delivery of electrical and communications projects across Defence sites throughout metropolitan and regional Victoria.

Working closely with Project Managers, you will play an integral role in coordinating project activities, maintaining project documentation, supporting procurement and subcontractor management, and ensuring projects are delivered efficiently and compliantly.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an emerging project professional looking to build their career within a dynamic and growing Defence project environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Project Managers in the delivery of electrical and communications projects across Defence sites.
• Coordinate project handover and takeover (HOTO) activities and associated documentation.
• Assist with monthly reporting, project administration and performance tracking.
• Manage procurement activities including purchase orders, supplier engagement and material tracking.
• Attend subcontractor meetings and maintain project actions, records and documentation.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of SWMS, management plans and project compliance documentation.
• Coordinate labour scheduling and workforce planning activities.
• Assist with the preparation, submission and tracking of project variations.
• Maintain equipment registers and coordinate calibration requirements.
• Ensure project information and documentation are maintained across project management and compliance systems.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be highly organised, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.

You will also possess:

• Previous experience in a Project Coordinator, Project Administrator or project support role.
• Procession or ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 Defence Security Clearance.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience supporting construction, electrical, communications or infrastructure projects (highly regarded).
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.

• Highly regarded Software experience: Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), PowerBI, Aconex, Procore, HammerTech and Rapid Global
