We are seeking an outstanding and passionate English Teacher to join our high-performing English Faculty. This position may commence in Term 4, 2026 or Term 1, 2027 by mutual agreement.

The successful applicant will be an engaging and knowledgeable educator with experience teaching Advanced and/or Extension English and a demonstrated commitment to fostering academic excellence, intellectual curiosity and a love of literature.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Inspire students to think critically, communicate effectively and engage deeply with literature and language.

• Contribute positively to a collaborative and high-performing department culture.

• Build strong relationships with students and support their academic and personal growth.

• Participate fully in the academic, pastoral and co-curricular life of the College.

About You

You will:

• Hold appropriate teaching qualifications and NESA accreditation.

• Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for English education.

• Have experience teaching Advanced and/or Extension English courses.

• Be committed to evidence-based teaching practice and continuous professional growth.

• Be an educator who values relationships, collaboration and student wellbeing.
