Diagnostic technician /Motor Mechanic

About the role

We are seeking a talented Diagnostic Technician / Mechanic to join our team at K&G Automotive Services in Underwood, Queensland. This is a full-time role, where you will play a crucial part in maintaining and repairing a wide range of European vehicles. As a key member of our automotive services team, you will leverage your expertise to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring our customers vehicles are back on the road safely and efficiently.

What you'll be doing

• Conducting thorough vehicle inspections and diagnostics to identify issues

• Repairing and servicing a variety of makes and models of vehicles

• Performing scheduled maintenance and repairs as per manufacturer specifications

• Using advanced diagnostic equipment and tools to accurately identify and resolve problems

• Providing high-quality workmanship

• Adhering to all health, safety and environmental regulations

What we're looking for

• Relevant trade qualification in Automotive Mechanics

• Minimum 3 years experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic (advantage for European vehicle service and repair experience)

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve complex issues

• Proficient in using a wide range of diagnostic equipment and tools

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Commitment to providing high-quality work

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure

• Valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
