About the Role

DCS is seeking motivated, hardworking, and reliable individuals to join our team of Industrial Cleaners on a casual, ad hoc basis.

This role supports mine site maintenance and shutdown work across the Mackay region, Bowen Basin, and surrounding areas. Work is offered as required, making it ideal for those seeking flexible, on-call shifts or additional income opportunities.

Blackwater, QLD residents are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Cleaning of Draglines, Excavators, Shovels, and Drills

• Hydro Excavation

• Office and Crib Room Cleaning

Requirements

The following qualifications are highly regarded (but not all essential to apply):

• Coal Board Medical*

• Driver’s Licence (MR/HR preferred)

• Standard 11

• Confined Space

• Gas Test Atmospheres

• Working at Heights

• Glencore/BMA Inductions

*Coal Board Medical is essential for the role; however, we can assist successful applicants in obtaining required competencies.

About You

• Previous mine site experience is advantageous, but not essential

• Open to new-to-industry applicants

• Willing to travel to various mine sites across the Bowen Basin

• Ideally based in or around Mackay, Rockhampton, Blackwater, or Moranbah

• Reliable, safety-focused, and adaptable

• Must have full working rights in Australia (no Working Holiday Visas)

• Blackwater, QLD residents are strongly encouraged to apply.
