The Role

We are seeking casual Store persons to join our growing team.

In this role you will assist in the process of ensuring materials in stock are in a serviceable condition and supporting the logistics team in packing equipment for dispatch and returning equipment to inventory upon its return.

The anticipated working hours is 38 hours per week.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Receipt and inspection of delivered equipment.

• Supporting the process of receiving, storing, assembling, packing and/or unpacking of goods.

• Assembling, packing and dispatch of equipment to site in a timely and efficient manner.

• Keeping the warehouse tidy and organised ensuring items are stored safely and efficiently.

• Assisting with the maintenance of basic equipment.

• Operating computer systems to log equipment returned from site.

• Conduct regular inventory counts and update inventory management systems to reflect current stock.

• Assisting with forecasting of stock levels to meet project requirements and stock takes.

• Liaise with Operations with regards to equipment movement.

• Collection of equipment from vendors as required.

• Other duties as required.

• Prioritise safety as a core value, consistently demonstrating a commitment to safety.

• Comply with the company, HSEQ and HR Policies and Procedures.

• Promote the company’s core values in everyday activities.

Required Qualifications

• Valid C Class Manual Drivers Licence.

• Forklift Licence.

• HR Truck License – desirable.

• First Aid – desirable.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in a stores and warehousing environment – preferable.

• Transport and warehouse experience – preferable.

• Oil & Gas industry – preferable.

• Intermediate Computer skills – Excel, Word.

• Excellent organisational and time management skills.

• Experience with a computer-based Inventory management system.

• Ability to work unsupervised.

• Safety-first attitude.

• Good interpersonal skills and an effective communicator.

• Attention to detail.

• Ability to work under pressure.

• Respect for others and team player.

A strong ability and desire to learn and grow with the business.
