ABOUT THE ROLE 

As a Passive Fire Technician, you will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of fire protection systems. This is full time permanent position for our Sydney team. 

DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES  

• Install and repair passive fire protection systems, including fire seals, barriers, and penetrations.  

• Read technical drawings and safely operate tools and access equipment.  

• Support site activities, maintain tools, and keep work areas organised.  

• Follow health and safety procedures and quality standards.  

• Complete training and update job records in reporting systems.

REQUIREMENTS 

• Experience installing and maintaining fire-rated systems and materials preferred  but not mandatory.  

• Knowledge of fire safety standards, building codes, and compliance requirements.  

• Valid White Card and Australian driver’s licence.  

• Experience with Uptick or similar software is desirable.  

• Strong focus on safety, quality, and customer service.  

• Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently and in a team.  

• Willing to complete required pre-employment checks. 

• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
