Posting Maintenance Officer

About the role

This is a highly active, hands-on field role based out of the Marsden Park warehouse, operating across Sydney and metropolitan areas. You will join the mobile field maintenance team, handling a variety of straightforward installation and maintenance tasks with a focus on glass work as your absolute priority in daily workflow. No prior experience in glass or trades is necessary, as full, comprehensive on-the-job training is provided from day one.

Key responsibilities

• Specialising in the safe handling, installation, removal, and replacement of pre-cut glass panels across the company asset network

• Carrying out scheduled posting, visual updates, and minor structural maintenance to keep sites looking immaculate

• Safely loading, securing, and organizing fragile glass panels, posting materials, and specialized tools onto your allocated work vehicle each morning at the warehouse

• Reviewing your daily job queue, navigating to various locations across Sydney, and completing your allocated field route efficiently once trained

• Conducting quick dynamic risk assessments at each worksite before starting to ensure safety of yourself, the public, and the assets

• Taking pride in finished work and using a company device to log completed jobs and update the maintenance team on progress

About you

• A positive attitude with a strong willingness to undergo full, specialized on-the-job safety and installation training

• The focus, care, and physical awareness required to handle and install glass materials safely once trained

• Comfort or basic experience using standard hand tools, power tools, and battery-operated equipment

• The ability to work independently in the field, manage your time wisely, and follow technical instructional checklists

• Good communication skills, a professional presentation when representing the company on-site, and a collaborative team attitude

• A current, valid Australian driver's licence

• The physical capability to safely lift, carry, and handle tools, glass panels, and heavy posting materials throughout the day
