About the role

As an existing member of the Thrive House team, you will already be familiar with our commitment to creating safe, inclusive and empowering environments for the people we support. This internal opportunity provides the chance to further contribute to this commitment in a leadership capacity.
We are seeking a House Manager to lead homes across the Moreton Bay Region. This internal opportunity is open to employees with relevant House Management or Case Management experience, as well as current team members who are ready to take the next step in their career and step into a leadership role.
Regular travel between homes within the Moreton Bay Region will be a requirement of this role. The successful applicant will also be required to complete any role-specific induction, training and handover requirements, which may include attendance at our Head Office in Mooloolaba.
Key Requirement: Attendance at fortnightly Friday team meetings at our Mooloolaba and Caboolture offices is required.
This is a great opportunity for someone who thrives in a leadership environment or is ready to build on their existing experience and progress their career within Thrive House. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations, leading and supporting a team of Support Workers, and ensuring high-quality care and support for the young people and NDIS participants in our care.

What We’re Looking For:
Essential Experience & Qualifications
✔ Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Community Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field desirable (Diploma accepted with substantial experience).
✔ Proven experience in team leadership and management in the disability, child protection, or social services sector.
✔ Strong background in case management with experience in planning, intervention, and risk assessment.
✔ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to excellence.
✔ Understanding of Child Safety Standards, Disability Services Standards, relevant legislation and maintaining compliance.
✔ Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
Compliance & Other Requirements
✅ Australian working rights.
✅ Current QLD driver’s licence (reasonable adjustments will be made for stable medical conditions which allow the inherent requirements of the role to be performed safely).
✅ Hold an LCS check, Blue Card, and Yellow Card.
