The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for Crew Leader to join our field crews working across the Greater Brisbane region. In this role you’ll lead a small on-site team and play a key part in delivering essential civil works across the water infrastructure space. This is a permanent full-time role that gives you an opportunity to build your skills and develop your career in the water industry.

Responsibilities include:

• General labouring including site preparation and onsite support
• Operating state-of-the-art Plant & Equipment
• Associated civils including water, sewer and stormwater rehabilitation
• Leading a small team of 1-4 crew members

Your background may be from one of the following:

• Pipe Rehabilitation by trenchless methods
• Pipe maintenance experience such as cleaning, pipe lining, CCTV or plumbing
• Civil construction or pipelaying
• Watermains, stormwater and/or sewer infrastructure
• Confined space experience and / or sewer experience is desirable

You will bring:

• Valid Drivers Licence
• OHS Construction Induction Card (White card)
• Previous experience leading crews
• The ability to work on sites across the Greater Brisbane region
• Good work ethic and positive work attitude
• A strong focus on safety
• HR or MR licence, Confined Space Entry and Working at Heights licences are desirable but not essential

To make sure that you’re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our pre-employment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test. Please be aware that these roles may require you to enter confined spaces, successful candidates will be provided with certified confined spaces training if required.
