With a strong reputation, continued growth, and a commitment to safety, sustainability, and customer service, we are seeking an experienced Regional Manager to lead our Dubbo region.

About the Role

Reporting to the General Manager - West & Southern Region, this senior leadership role is responsible for the overall performance of the Dubbo region, including operational delivery, financial performance, safety, compliance, people leadership, customer relationships, and business growth.

Leading a diverse operation across commercial, residential, industrial and organics services, you will work closely with operational teams, councils, customers, and key stakeholders to ensure safe, efficient and profitable service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage regional operations to achieve safety, service, compliance and financial objectives.

• Oversee P&L performance, budgeting, cost control and operational efficiencies.

• Ensure contract KPIs and customer service standards are consistently achieved.

• Lead workforce planning, recruitment, performance management and employee development.

• Build strong relationships with councils, customers and other stakeholders.

• Support business development initiatives, tenders and new contract mobilisation.

• Drive continuous improvement across safety, environmental and operational performance.

• Maximise the utilisation of fleet and operational resources across the region.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

• Proven experience in a senior operations, regional or business management role.

• Strong commercial acumen with extensive P&L and budget management experience.

• Experience leading large operational teams and multiple business functions.

• Demonstrated success in contract management and customer relationship management.

• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

• Knowledge of transport, logistics, waste management or a similar operational industry.

• Heavy Vehicle Licence and fleet management experience will be highly regarded.
