The Role
Help protect and enhance our community through effective investigations, compliance and enforcement.
We're looking for an experienced and highly motivated Investigations Officer to join our Regulatory Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to undertake a diverse range of investigations that contribute to community safety, environmental protection and regulatory compliance across Canterbury-Bankstown.
As an Investigations Officer, you'll independently manage investigations from initial assessment through to resolution. You'll gather and analyse evidence, conduct inspections, coordinate surveillance operations, prepare briefs of evidence and represent Council in legal proceedings where required.
Working within a collaborative and professional team, you'll apply a balanced approach of education, regulation and enforcement to achieve compliance outcomes while building positive relationships with residents, businesses and key stakeholders.

The salary range for this opportunity is from $97,327 (Grade G, Step 1) + 12% super + option of car allowance OR leaseback vehicle. Remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications, skills and experience.
