About J.A.C's Learning World

J.A.C’s Learning World is a privately owned Early Childhood Education and Care Service located in Yeppoon, Queensland. We are licensed to cater for up to 52 children each day, welcoming children from 15 months through to school age, including a Government Approved Kindergarten Program.

Our dedicated team of qualified educators and teachers are passionate about creating meaningful, engaging learning experiences that support each child’s individual interests, strengths, development and learning. We value an emergent curriculum approach, allowing children’s ideas, curiosity and interests to guide our program and shape the learning experiences we provide.

We strive to create environments that are homely, relaxed, welcoming and safe, where children and their families feel confident, comfortable and genuinely supported. We believe strong relationships, play-based learning and responsive educators are at the heart of quality early childhood education.

• Diploma of Children's Services

• Bachelor of Early Childhood Education

• Current Positive Notice Blue Card

Tasks & responsibilities

• To work as part of a team to create a warm and inclusive environment for children, and provide quality education and care for children and families.

• Build effective and healthy partnerships with team members, families and community.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment.

• Support the implementation of the the Early Years Learning Framework and the National Quality Standards.

• Enthusiastically participate with children in play based experiences and support the implementation of the service pedagogies.
