Aneasthetic Registered or Enrolled Nurse - Full-time

About the role:

We have a great opportunity for an enthusiastic Anaesthetic Registered or Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic clinical team on a full time basis. Great work/ life balance - Monday to Friday flexible roster, no on-call, public holidays off. Occasional optional weekend shifts available. 

Duties and responsibilities:

This role will see you working collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary healthcare team to support patient care needs and deliver exceptional clinical outcomes.

• Assist the nursing team to deliver safe, evidence-based patient care
• Ensure the theatre complex and equipment are ready for surgery
• Ensure patient safety and communication with surgical team is always a key focus
• Monitor and evaluate patient recovery, addressing any complications
• Deliver education and support to patients for the management of their recovery
• RN's supervise and support Enrolled Nurses on shift

About You:

You have a genuine passion for nursing, providing world-class patient care and adding value to Australian healthcare. You will have:

• Solid experience in perioperative Anaesthetic nursing
• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered or Enrolled nurse
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills  
• A true commitment to delivering high quality patient care 
• Experience in below specialties desirable
• Experience in Recovery desirable

Bondi Junction Private Hospital is a boutique, purpose-built hospital with modern facilities, specialising in a range of specialties including Ophthalmology, ENT Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Cosmetic Surgery, Moh’s, General Surgery, and IVF.

Our hospital includes 4 operating theatres, a Day Surgery Unit and a 7 bed overnight ward.
