Floor Manager

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Floor Manager to join our Chirnside Park team. This is a hands-on leadership position suited to someone who enjoys being on the floor, leading a team and making sure the venue runs smoothly from open to close.

About the Role

As Floor Manager, you will take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the venue, with a strong focus on staff management, customer experience, bookings, training and venue administration.

You will work closely with the Venue Manager and management team to ensure the restaurant consistently delivers a high standard of service while maintaining strong operational controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the FOH team during service
• Create and manage staff rosters based on business levels and labour targets
• Coordinate and manage all restaurant bookings, functions and events
• Respond to customer enquiries, emails and booking requests
• Manage staff communication and daily operational requirements
• Train, coach and develop new and existing team members
• Ensure staff are following service standards, procedures and company policies
• Manage opening and closing procedures
• Monitor floor service and ensure an exceptional customer experience
• Handle customer feedback and resolve issues professionally
• Manage stock levels and conduct regular stock checks
• Place and coordinate food, beverage and operational orders
• Monitor wastage and stock usage
• Liaise with suppliers where required
• Ensure the venue is clean, organised and presented to a high standard
• Assist with functions, large bookings and busy service periods
• Work with management to improve systems, team performance and overall venue profitability

Pay: $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year
