We’re looking for a passionate Full Time Chef to join our talented kitchen team at voco Melbourne Central. If you love creating great food, enjoy working in a collaborative environment and thrive during a busy service, we’d love to hear from you.

What you’ll be doing

• Preparing and cooking high-quality dishes that consistently delight our guests.
• Supporting the day-to-day operation of the kitchen across various sections.
• Assisting with food preparation, mise en place and service.
• Ensuring food is presented to the highest standards.
• Following food safety, HACCP and hygiene procedures at all times.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and efficient kitchen.
• Working closely with the wider culinary team to deliver an exceptional dining experience.

What you’ll bring

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent).
• At least 2 years’ relevant experience working in a commercial kitchen, hotel or high-volume restaurant.
• A genuine passion for quality food and hospitality.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to stay calm under pressure and work well as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
