As our Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in transforming complex financial information into meaningful insight that drives performance across the Group. Working at the intersection of finance, strategy and data, you'll partner with senior leaders to influence key decisions, strengthen financial stewardship and help shape RACV's future.
Reporting to the Head of Planning & Performance, this is a highly visible opportunity for an experienced finance professional who thrives on collaboration, accountability and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing
Lead the end-to-end Group month-end reporting cycle, including timetables, journals and eliminationsPrepare and deliver Leadership Team and Board performance reporting packsMonitor financial performance against budget and forecasts, identifying trends, risks and opportunitiesDevelop meaningful insights and recommendations that influence strategic and operational decisionsOwn and coordinate the annual business planning and forecasting processes across the GroupBuild and maintain robust planning frameworks, controls and governance processesPartner with stakeholders to drive accountability and alignment to business objectivesAct as a trusted advisor to General Managers and Heads of across the businessProvide commercial insights, analysis and decision support to senior leaders and the CFOBuild strong relationships that position Finance as a valued strategic partnerTranslate complex financial information into clear, actionable recommendationsOwn the accuracy and integrity of Group financial reporting dataPartner closely with the Data, Strategy & Analytics team to ensure confidence in reporting outputsDrive automation and process improvement initiatives across reporting, planning and forecastingDesign and enhance financial models, reporting tools and performance dashboardsSupport acquisitions, new products and business changes through effective reporting integration
What you'll bring
7+ years' post graduate experience across financial planning & analysis, commercial finance, business analysisCA or CPA qualification (preferred)Degree qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related disciplineExtensive experience with analysis and reportingStrong experience in Group consolidation, financial reporting and forecastingAdvanced financial modelling, budgeting and performance analysis capabilitiesDemonstrated ability to influence and partner with senior stakeholders across a complex organisationExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to closely parter and influence senior stakeholders.Strong commercial acumen and the ability to tell compelling stories through dataExperience with SAP ERP, Advanced Excel, Power BI and reporting toolsTableau experience will be highly regardedA continuous improvement mindset with a passion for simplifying and automating processes
