We are seeking a Breeder Farm 3IC to support operations at one of our Bullsbrook Farms. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and experienced farm worker to step into a leadership role, assisting the Farm Manager and Supervisor in ensuring the smooth operation of the farm, maintaining high animal welfare standards, and driving continuous improvement.

Daily Tasks

• Assist the Farm Manager and supervisor in overseeing daily operations of the breeder farm.
• Supervise and support farm workers to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Monitor bird health, welfare, and egg production to meet company standards.
• Conduct regular farm inspections and ensure compliance with biosecurity protocols.
• Assist with feed management, equipment maintenance, and general farm upkeep.
• Maintain accurate records and report key farm performance metrics.
• Identify and address operational challenges promptly.
• Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to workplace health and safety guidelines.

You Will Bring to This Role

• Previous experience in poultry farming, preferably in breeder farm operations.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and support a team.
• A proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow farm procedures.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends when required.
• Physically fit and capable of handling farm-related tasks.
