The Department

Caulfield Community Health (CCH) provides a range of clinical and health promotion services for people of all ages who live, work or study within the local community. These multi-disciplinary services are provided in the centre, community, home, or via telehealth. CCH operates from the Caulfield Hospital site at Alfred Health.

The Role

The Administration Support Officer provides supervision and support within the ARC Administration Team while also undertaking key administrative duties. The position serves as a vital link between administration staff and the Team Leader, ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of administrative services across all ARC community programs. The role combines hands-on administrative work with team coordination, operational oversight, and troubleshooting, offering leadership and guidance to staff while maintaining a high standard of client service delivery.

Experience and Qualifications Required

• Excellent communication (verbal and written), collaboration and problem-solving skills
• Well-developed administrative, reception and telephone skills
• Effective time management and avility to prioritse workload
• Proficient computer skills, including MS Office applications
• Understanding of confidentiality, privacy requrements and relevant legislation
• Ability to follow organisational policies, procedures and work systematically with a high level of accountability
• Ability to oversee daily operations, support and guide staff, and effectively manage and resolve issues in a dynamic service environment.
