Maverick Campers is expanding, and with the opening of our new Edwardstown location in Adelaide, we are looking to grow our team with skilled and motivated people who want to be part of an expanding Australian caravan business.

We are seeking a Caravan Technician to join our team. This is a hands-on role suited to someone preferably with experience in 12V electrical systems, caravan assembly, fit-outs, repairs and general workshop work.

About the Role

Working as part of our production and workshop team, you will be involved in the assembly, fit-out, servicing and completion of caravans and camper trailers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installation and troubleshooting of 12V electrical systems

• Wiring and installation of electrical components and accessories

• Assembly and fit-out of caravan components

• Installation of appliances, fixtures and internal/external components

• General caravan repairs, maintenance and modifications

• Using hand and power tools safely and effectively

• Following production, quality control and safety procedures

• Identifying and rectifying issues throughout the build process

• Working closely with the production and workshop teams to ensure builds are completed to a high standard

• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe work environment

About You

We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and takes pride in their work.

The successful applicant will ideally have:

• Experience working with 12V electrical systems

• Good understanding of wiring, electrical components and fault finding

• Strong assembly and mechanical skills

• Experience in the caravan, automotive, marine, electrical or similar industries is highly regarded

• Ability to read and follow instructions and wiring diagrams

• Good attention to detail

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• A strong focus on quality and getting the job done correctly
