About the role
We are seeking a full-time Water and Wastewater Technician to join our team based in Sydney, NSW. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of water and wastewater treatment systems, ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our clients' critical water infrastructure.
What you'll be doing
Perform inspections, diagnostics, and preventive maintenance on wastewater treatment plants and associated equipment
Diagnose faults and have an understanding of pumps, blowers, valves, filters, pipework, dosing equipment
Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning treatment systems
Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities and repairs
Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and environmental standards
Collaborate with the broader team to identify process improvements and optimise system performance
Provide technical support and training to clients as required

What we're looking for
Relevant qualifications in water/wastewater treatment, Engineering, Plumbing, or a related field
Effective communication and customer service skills
Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously
Willingness to travel and work in regional and mining sites
Minimum 3 years' experience as a water/ wastewater technician or in a similar role
Strong understanding of water/ wastewater treatment processes, equipment, and systems including RO, UF and UV.
Commitment to quality, safety and environmental best practices
Current driver's licence (essential)
