About The Role

Reporting to the Facilities team, you'll be responsible for delivering a broad range of preventative and reactive maintenance services across commercial buildings and facilities throughout Canberra.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

General building repairs and maintenanceCarpentry, painting, patching and finishing worksMinor plumbing repairs and maintenanceBasic HVAC and building services maintenanceCeiling tile replacement and door hardware repairsRoutine site inspections and fault identificationTroubleshooting building maintenance issuesAssisting with equipment and furniture relocationsResponding to maintenance requests and breakdownsMaintaining safe work practices at all times

About You

We're looking for a practical, motivated professional who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and exceptional customer service.

To Be Successful, You Will Have

Australian CitizenshipA trade qualification or strong trade backgroundExperience in commercial facilities or building maintenanceYour own toolsCurrent Australian Driver's LicenceStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work autonomously and manage competing prioritiesGood communication and customer service skills

Security Clearance Requirements

Candidates with any of the following will be highly regarded:

Current NV1 Security ClearanceCurrent Baseline Security ClearanceExpired NV1 or Baseline Clearance (eligible for reactivation)
