Qualified Plumber – Full-Time Position

Ridge Plumbing and Maintenance Pty Ltd is seeking a Qualified Plumber with a positive “can-do” attitude and a strong willingness to work to join our growing team.

Our work is primarily based throughout the Geelong and Surf Coast regions, with a diverse range of domestic, commercial, civil and construction projects.

We are looking for someone who takes pride in their workmanship, is reliable and trustworthy, and can work confidently both independently and as part of a team.

About the Role

You will be involved in a wide variety of plumbing, maintenance and construction work, including but not limited to:

• Domestic and commercial maintenance

• Renovations

• New high-end builds

• Civil and construction plumbing

• Sewer and stormwater cleaning and CCTV camera inspections

• Sanitary and drainage

• Stormwater systems

• Gas supply, servicing and maintenance

• Water supply

• Heating and cooling

• Roofing maintenance, reroofing and new roofs

• Plumbing fault finding and diagnosis

• Body corporate maintenance

• Excavation work

• Maintenance for Early Learning Centres

• Effluent systems

• Backflow testing

• Advanced leak detection

• Hot water systems, including gas, electric, solar and heat pumps

About You

We are seeking a qualified plumber who can demonstrate:

• A positive “can-do” attitude

• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team

• Excellent organisational and communication skills

• High standards of workmanship

• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

• Honesty, punctuality, reliability and trustworthiness

• Ability to diagnose and resolve plumbing issues efficiently

• Commitment to following company procedures and safety requirements

• Accurate job notes, photographs and documentation

• A clean, tidy and professional presentation

• Your own basic hand tools and power tools

Essential Requirements

You must have:

• Current Victorian plumbing registration or licence

• Valid Australian driver's licence (automatic or manual)

• White Card

• Working at Heights ticket, or willingness to obtain

• Police Check, or willingness to obtain

• Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain

• Australian citizenship or permanent residency
