We are seeking a passionate and motivated Psychologist to join our growing multidisciplinary team in Canberra, ACT.

About the Role

As a Psychologist at ESA, you will play a key role in supporting children, adolescents, and their families through high-quality assessment and intervention services. Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary environment, you will have the opportunity to build strong clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for:
  • Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
  • Intellectual Developmental Disorders
  • Other developmental, behavioural, and emotional concerns
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to individual needs
• Develop, implement, and review client-centred goals alongside families and key stakeholders
• Prepare high-quality clinical reports and maintain accurate documentation
• Collaborate with allied health professionals, educators, support coordinators, and community partners
• Support children and young people aged 2 to 18 years to enhance participation, independence, and wellbeing
• Contribute to a positive, innovative, and collaborative team culture

About You

You are a compassionate, client-focused psychologist who is passionate about supporting children, young people, and families to achieve meaningful outcomes.

Essential Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Psychology
• Current General Registration with AHPRA
• Experience conducting assessments and delivering therapeutic interventions
• Strong communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Current Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) registration (or willingness to obtain)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• National Police Check
• Current Driver's Licence and access to a fully insured vehicle

Desirable

• Experience working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental conditions
• ADOS-2 and/or MIGDAS training and experience
• Experience within multidisciplinary, disability, or community-based settings
• Knowledge of the NDIS environment
