Plant Operator Level 3 - Backhoe

Lachlan Shire Council is seeking a motivated Plant Operator Level 3 - Backhoe to join our Roads team!

Based in Condobolin but working across the entire shire, this full-time position is responsible for the operation of the backhoe, working with a variety of gangs and conducting general labouring duties from plant operation, truck driving and concrete works.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

A Heavy Rigid Drivers Licence (or willing to obtain within 3 months)The ability to safely operate a BackhoePrevious work related experienceConstruction Induction Certificate (White Card)Good communication & customer service skillsGood literacy skillsKnowledge of plant maintenanceThe ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating initiative and self-motivation.

What We Offer

Salary and Conditions:

Salary range: $2,315.14 to $2,488.78 per fortnightStarting salary will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience.Position classified at Grade 5 within Council's Salary Structure.Employment conditions in accordance with the Local Government (State) Award.
