Green Island Resort is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join our team in a part-time role.

About the Role
As Chef de Partie, you will support the smooth operation of the resort’s on-site food outlets, delivering high-quality dishes and exceptional service standards. Working under the guidance of the Sous Chef, you will play a key role in creating quality dishes across our restaurant, café and buffet for both resort and day tour guests.

Key responsibilities include:

• Oversee a designated section of the kitchen during service as directed by the Sous or Executive Chef, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.

• Prepare and cook dishes in accordance with the Island’s standards across multiple food outlets, ensuring consistency in quality and presentation.

• Participate in daily kitchen operations, maintaining a clean and organised work area, assist with inventory management, and support kitchen team in various tasks as needed.

• Assisting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes.

• Ensure compliance with all food and workplace health & safety regulations and striving to always work in a safe manner in line with workplace procedures

About you

• Cert IV in Commercial Cookery (minimum)

• Able to commit to working a flexible roster including weekends and public holidays

• A team player with a positive attitude and commitment to excellence
