This is a Fixed Term Full-Time appointment at 75 hours per fortnight, until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.

About you and the role

We are looking for enthusiastic and dynamic applicants for the role of Project Coordinator.

The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating, developing, implementing, and reviewing policies and strategic initiatives as directed, including the development, implementation, and evaluation of the WA Model for Violence Prevention Pilot, which aims to reduce alcohol-related presentations to emergency departments (ED) and impacts on community safety.

Key Responsibilities includes:

• Undertakes daily aspects of project development and implementation to deliver the WA Model for Violence Prevention Pilot outcomes. This includes establishing and maintaining project and communication plans and governance requirements to ensure project outcomes are achieved on time, on budget, to high quality and in line with the Commission’s project management methodology and tools.
• Investigates and reports on existing community responses and government programs addressing mental health, drug and alcohol related issues and provides advice and recommendations for change, development and coordination.
• Develops policy and coordinates strategies and proposals as directed.
• Prepares position papers, discussion papers, correspondence and briefing notes as directed.
