Sales Representative - Mobile Showroom

We are looking for a motivated and professional Mobile Showroom Salesperson to join our growing team. We’re looking for someone who has experience in sales or equivalent skills, even better if your experience is within the automotive, transport or agricultural machinery and workshop space. You will be a key player in our company, building relationships with our trade partners, promoting our products, and ensuring exceptional service.

The Role

This is a hands-on, physical role that involves loading and unloading products, this isn't a desk job or an order-taking or delivery run. A typical week is four days out on the truck with a day, usually Friday, at base which gives us flexibility and balance.

You will operate your own fully equipped mobile showroom, a purpose-fitted medium rigid truck stocked with AutoSmart's product range, visiting our trade customers across north east Victoria and south east NSW. Our key partners span the automotive industry including vehicle detailers, transport and haulage companies, mechanical workshops, agricultural machinery operators, commercial fleets, and dealerships.

This is a sales role based on relationships, our sales are achieved through being reliable and consistent, building and maintaining relationships with trade partners and customers, providing advice on the products, and solving problems. You'll be autonomous, well-supported, and rewarded for commitment and performance.

What You'll Do

• Manage and grow trade accounts with regular, structured call cycles

• Build strong, long-term relationships while identifying new sales opportunities through cold calling, warm referrals, and on-the-road opportunities

• Conduct on-site product demonstrations 

• Problem-solve, answer questions, and handle objections with confidence. Provide advice based on your product knowledge

• Maintain accurate records of sales activity, customer interactions, and deliveries

• Keep your mobile showroom well-stocked, clean, safe, and professionally presented

• Be a team player, support the wider team’s success through cooperation and initiative

What We're Looking For

Sales experience and the ability to open doors, build trust, and maintain business relationships.

• Sales experience or equivalent skills

• Comfortable calling on trade customers including detailers, transport, agriculture, workshops, and fleets

• Self-motivated and disciplined, you manage your own day and get things done

• Strong communicator who builds rapport quickly and maintains it over time

• Organised with good time management across a structured daily run

• Committed to safety and responsible work practices

• Experience with point-of-sale or CRM systems (or the aptitude to learn)

• Medium Rigid (MR) licence required, or willingness to obtain

• Forklift licence required, or willingness to obtain

Territory & Base

Based in Albury, you'll start and finish each day at our warehouse. Our territory covers Albury, Wodonga, Wangaratta, Shepparton, Wagga Wagga, and surrounding regions, a large and well-populated transport, industry, and agricultural area with real growth potential.

What We Offer

• Competitive base salary and attractive and guaranteed commission

  • Base salary: $80,000 per annum

  • Monthly sales commission: 2% on all sales once sales exceed set targets

  • Superannuation: 12% on base salary and commission

  • At target performance, total remuneration including commission is highly competitive. There is no cap on commission earnings.

• Ongoing training and support, beginning with a comprehensive one on one training program upon commencement to understand our system and culture, learn the products, and meet our customers
