Based at either Morwell, Port of Sale or Bairnsdale (negotiable)
Supporting East Gippsland and Latrobe Valley Trainees (travel will be required for this position, fleet vehicles are available for travel outside your base campus)

About the role
Due to continued growth within the department, TAFE Gippsland is seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Early Childhood professional to join the Early Childhood teaching team, delivering the Certificate III and Diploma of Early Childhood Education & Care.
A key focus of this role is supporting trainees undertaking their studies in the workplace across East Gippsland and the Latrobe Valley. You will deliver engaging, high-quality training and assessment while providing practical, individualised support to trainees to help them successfully achieve their learning outcomes.
The role has a strong workplace-based focus and will involve regular travel to trainee workplaces to conduct visits, provide on-the-job support and undertake training and assessment activities. You will also develop and contextualise learning resources, maintain accurate student records, complete the administrative requirements associated with course delivery and ensure compliance with training and assessment standards.
The role may also provide class coverage as required. This is an excellent opportunity for an educator who enjoys workplace-based training, building relationships with trainees and employers, and supporting learners to develop the practical skills, confidence and capability needed for a successful career in Early Childhood Education and Care.

Mandatory requirements
Certificate IV in Training and Assessment TAE40122 or equivalent
Relevant vocational qualification to the level of teaching/assessing
Minimum 5+ years’ relevant industry experience
Willingness to travel across East Gippsland and Latrobe Valley to support trainees in the workplace
Current Victorian Working with Children Clearance
Current Police check (no older than 12 months)
Current Driver’s Licence
