HR Hook Truck Drivers

At DEMEX, you'll play a key role in supporting demolition, remediation, and civil construction projects across Southeast Queensland and beyond. Working alongside our operations, workshop, and project teams, you'll safely transport bins, machinery, equipment, and materials to keep our projects moving.

What You'll Be Doing

• Operate hook trucks to transport bins, materials, equipment, and machinery between project sites and facilities

• Load, unload, and secure machinery and attachments in accordance with load restraint requirements

• Complete waste tracking documentation and transport records accurately

• Conduct daily pre-starts and basic vehicle inspections to ensure equipment remains safe and compliant

• Work closely with supervisors, operations & workshop personnel to coordinate deliveries and collections

• Maintain a high standard of safety, housekeeping, and professionalism while representing DEMEX on site and on the road

What We're Looking For

• Current HR Licence with demonstrated hook truck driving experience

• Load Restraint Training and practical application experience

• Experience loading and unloading machinery from hook bins and flat deck trailers

• Knowledge of waste tracking documentation and transport requirements

• Current White Card

• Strong safety mindset with the ability to follow procedures and directions

• Reliable team player with a proactive, can-do attitude

• Ability to pass pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
