About This Role

Your new role:

As a Pharmacy Assistant, you'll support the delivery of essential pharmacy services by assisting with medicines inventory, dispensing, distribution, stock management and quality activities. Working as part of a collaborative hospital pharmacy team, you'll help ensure medicines are available, accurate and safely managed while contributing to exceptional care for patients across the health service.

Certificate III in Hospital/Health Services Pharmacy Support or equivalent experience in pharmacy servicesStrong understanding of medicines inventory management, stock control and safe handling practicesAbility to support dispensing, distribution and pharmacy operations under Pharmacist supervisionExcellent communication, teamwork and organisational skills with attention to detailCommitment to quality improvement, professional standards and delivering safe patient-focused services

QEII Jubilee Hospital's Pharmacy Department delivers comprehensive medication management services seven days a week, supported by a dedicated team of pharmacists and pharmacy support staff. The service provides clinical pharmacy care, dispensary services, medicines inventory and distribution management, education and training, and contributes to hospital-wide safety, governance and quality improvement initiatives.
