The Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Procurement Manager - Additives to lead the sourcing, procurement, inventory, and supply chain management of our additives portfolio, including vitamins, minerals, and premixes.

Reporting into senior leadership, you'll play a critical role in ensuring a reliable, cost-effective, and compliant supply of key raw materials while partnering closely with Sales, Operations, Nutrition, Technical, and Quality teams to support business growth and customer success.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies that deliver supply security, cost efficiencies, and quality outcomes.
• Build and manage strategic supplier relationships, negotiate commercial agreements, and drive tender processes.
• Identify alternative suppliers and sourcing opportunities to strengthen supply chain resilience and mitigate risk.
• Ensure compliance with quality, feed safety, regulatory, and biosecurity requirements, including APVMA and FeedSafe standards.
• Forecast material requirements, optimise inventory levels, and monitor commodity markets, freight, and currency impacts.
• Lead procurement activities across the business and support site teams in achieving procurement objectives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Sales, Nutrition, Product Development, and Quality teams to align supply with customer and production requirements.

About You

You are a commercially minded procurement professional who enjoys balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.

You'll ideally bring:

• Degree qualifications in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years' procurement experience within agriculture, animal health, stockfeed, nutrition, or a related industry.
• Strong commercial negotiation and supplier management experience.
• Understanding of feed manufacturing, animal nutrition, or agricultural supply chains.
• Sound knowledge of compliance, quality assurance, and risk management.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, and analytical skills.

• Build relationships across Operations, Sales, Nutrition, Quality, and Procurement.
• Understand our products, suppliers, contracts, inventory strategies, and procurement systems.
• Visit key sites and assess current supply chain performance and risks.

Days 31-60 | Assess & Improve

• Identify opportunities for cost savings, inventory optimisation, and supply chain improvements.
• Review supplier performance and develop action plans for strategic vendors.
• Implement quick wins that enhance procurement effectiveness and service levels.

Days 61-90 | Deliver & Influence

• Establish strategic sourcing priorities and supplier development plans.
• Strengthen procurement reporting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
• Present recommendations that improve supply chain resilience, support growth, and deliver commercial value.
