Pharmacist - Part Time (Mon/Tue/Wed)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Pharmacist to join our team at Vermont South Pharmacy to work every Monday (10-6), Tuesday (830-5) and Wednesday (10-6).

We are a busy community pharmacy that is focussed on providing exceptional customer service and engagement. We are looking for a pharmacist who is confident and keen to embrace our passion of promoting customer loyalty through exceptional service.

You will be support by an experienced team of pharmacists, technicians and a dispensing robot (ROWA). There are usually 2-3 pharmacists on duty during the weekdays.

What you'll be doing

• Provide professional pharmaceutical advice and services to patients, including dispensing medications, reviewing prescriptions, and monitoring patient medication usage

• Support the Pharmacist Manager to execute day to day activities including vaccination, health promotions, Medschecks, DAA, 8CPA programs, PBS claims etc.

• Promote and encourage use of Medadvisor software/app with patients

• Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with relevant regulations and standards

• Provide professional pharmacy services including vaccination, Medschecks and full scope services (eg. UTI, Shingles, Oral Contraceptives)

What we're looking for

• Registered Pharmacist with a valid Pharmacy Board of Australia license (APHRA)

• Experience working as a pharmacist in a community pharmacy setting

• Completed the pharmacist vaccinator course and hold a current First Aid Certificate

• Excellent communication skills to confidently interact with patients

• Proficient in the use of Z Dispense. We use the MPS sachet system for our Dose Administration Aids - training will be provided.

• A willingness to learn and enthusiasm to educate other staff members (including Pharmacy Assistants)
