HC Local Driver – Day Shift

Cahill Transport is a proudly Australian, family-owned transport company with over 75 years of experience.

We’re looking for an experienced HC Driver to join our Forrestfield team. You’ll primarily complete local deliveries in a rigid truck, with the flexibility to operate semi-trailers when required.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Completing local metro pick-ups and deliveries.

• Operating rigid and semi-trailer vehicles as required.

• Loading, unloading and securing freight safely.

• Completing pre-start checks and transport documentation.

• Following fatigue management, Chain of Responsibility and safety requirements.

What You’ll Bring

• Current HC licence – essential.

• Recent heavy vehicle driving experience.

• Local metro pick-up and delivery experience.

• Strong load restraint and safe driving knowledge.

• Good understanding of fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility.

• Reliable, safety-focused approach.

• DG licence and/or side loader experience would be highly regarded.
