What We Are Looking For
We are seeking a highly organised and customer-focused Administration Support Officer to provide high level administrative, record management and financial support to the Engineering & Technical Services team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, has a strong attention to detail and takes pride in delivering exceptional service while supporting key engineering, environmental and capital works activities.
What Your Day Will Look Like
Provide administrative and purchasing support to the Engineering & Technical Services team.Coordinate training, travel, conferences, meetings (agendas and meeting minutes) and related logistics.Process purchase orders, variations, invoices and receipting activities to support financial operations.Coordinate all records management activities for the groupAssist with the administration of Capital Works and Special Projects Programs.

What You’ll Need For Success
Valid Queensland Class C or CA Driver Licence. General Construction Induction (White Card), if required for the role. Demonstrated experience in business administration and office support functions. Experience using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint, and the ability to learn new systems. Strong customer service focus with experience supporting internal and external stakeholders. High-level written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail. Ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines and adapt to changing business needs. Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
What’s Nice To Have
Experience using TechnologyOne Enterprise Suite. Experience with procurement and purchasing processes. Experience using electronic records management systems. Local Government administration experience. Exposure to WHS, quality assurance or related business systems.
