Sales Manager

About the role

You'll own Sortible's Travel B2B sales pipeline from first conversation through to signed contract. This is considered, relationship-led selling into an industry that moves on trust: expect sales cycles of three to six months, multiple stakeholders, and real relationship-building rather than volume outreach. You'll work directly with our CEO. This is a ground-floor commercial role: you'll help shape how we sell, not just execute an existing playbook.

Key responsibilities

• Build and manage a pipeline of premium group tour operators across Australia

• Run the full sales cycle: outreach, demos, proposals, negotiation, close

• Engage technology and commercial decision-makers within operator businesses, up to CEO level

• Represent Sortible at industry events and conferences

• Feed market and customer feedback back into our product roadmap

About you

• Sales experience in travel, tourism, or a closely adjacent industry, ideally selling to tour operators, cruise lines, or travel technology buyers

• An existing network within the Australian group travel sector

• Comfortable with longer B2B sales cycles and multiple stakeholders, not transactional or high-volume sales

• Confident presenting to senior decision-makers

• A self-starter who's excited to build a sales function from the ground up, not join an established one
