HR Truck Driver

Location: Hemmant, QLD

Recycal / Ecocycle is seeking an experienced and reliable HR Truck Driver to join our team on a full-time basis at our Hemmant facility.

This position is integral to our operations, ensuring the safe and efficient transport of materials while maintaining the highest standards of customer service, safety, and compliance.

As a local and regional HR Truck Driver, you will play a key role in supporting our recycling and logistics operations and contributing to the continued success of our business.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

• Transporting recycled materials and other goods to designated locations safely and on schedule

• Operating and maintaining heavy rigid vehicles in compliance with all relevant road and workplace safety regulations

• Delivering, changing over, and installing 52-litre battery recycling bins at retail customer locations across Queensland.

• Servicing regional retail and commercial customers throughout the state.

• Completing local deliveries and multi-day regional trips as required.

• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times.

• Ensuring all transport activities are carried out safely and in compliance with company policies and road regulations.

This role requires regular travel away from Brisbane, including overnight stays and trips lasting several days at a time.

All accommodation is provided in motel accommodation, and an additional $100 per day travel allowance is paid to cover expenses while working away.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A current and valid HR Truck Licence.

• A strong safety focus and excellent driving record.

• The ability and willingness to travel regularly throughout regional Queensland.

• Good communication and customer service skills.

• A reliable, flexible, and professional attitude.

• Previous experience in transport, logistics, or waste/recycling industries will be highly regarded.
