The Opportunity….

The Mobile Crushing Maintenance Supervisor supports the Operations Manager to deliver safe, reliable and high‑productivity crushing operations. This role is responsible for developing and implementing Preventative Maintenance (PM) systems, improving maintenance quality, supervising maintenance contractors, and contributing to safety, environmental compliance, asset reliability, and operational efficiency.

Your Key Tasks, but limited to, include…

• Start‑Up Activities: Safety briefings, pre‑start checks, task allocation, hazard identification.

• Reporting: Daily updates on equipment condition and work priorities.

• Inspections: In‑depth inspections of crushing spreads, screens, conveyors.

• Administration: PM System work orders, defect reporting, purchasing.

• Planning: PM schedules, resource planning, maintenance coordination.

• End‑of‑Shift: Debriefs and handovers.

• Performance Monitoring: Availability, downtime, PM compliance.

• Stores & Inventory: Maintain critical spares and consumables.

• Risk Management: JSA reviews, permit systems, incident investigations.

• Management Reporting: Variances, maintenance trends, high‑cost items.

• People Management: Inductions, coaching, skills development.

• Travel: Interstate travel is required as part of this role

• Hands on machine operations.

Here’s what we’re looking for…

Skills/Competencies

• Knowledge: Mobile crushing systems, mechanical and hydraulic principles, PM processes, PM System.

• Skills: Diagnostics, PM planning, contractor supervision, hazard control, communication.

• Behaviour: Safety‑focused, detail‑oriented, collaborative, improvement‑driven.

Experience

• Experience with mobile crushing or heavy mobile plant maintenance

• Supervisory or leading‑hand experience

• PM system implementation

• Contractor supervision

Qualifications

• Maintenance Trade Qualification OR

• Certificate IV in Surface Extraction Operations (or equivalent)
