About the role
An exciting opportunity has become available for a Christian Facilities and Fleet Team Member to join our College in a full-time role starting in mid-September 2026.
Imagine being a key staff member in a thriving Christian school environment, where your skills and dedication help create a safe, clean, and inspiring place for students to learn and grow, sharing your love of life and faith. If you are passionate about facilities maintenance and enjoy working outdoors maintaining beautiful and functional spaces, we invite you to join our team and make a lasting impact!
About RehobothAs the first Christian parent-governed school in Western Australia, we are pioneers of distinctly Christian education. Our rich heritage stretches back sixty years; we have learned a lot in that time and are always seeking to improve and innovate.
Rehoboth exists to partner with Christian families in their God-given task of nurturing and educating their children. The successful candidate will be joining a team who sincerely believe in our vision to lead students to think and live for the glory of God in every aspect of their lives.
About the PositionThe successful applicant will be responsible for the general maintenance and upkeep of the College’s grounds and facilities, including maintaining reticulation systems, play areas, gardens and grassed areas, and caring for buildings, fixtures and fittings in accordance with Work Health and Safety (WHS) requirements. In addition, the role involves safely transporting students on bus runs and excursions as required.
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently for extended periods while also enjoying building positive relationships and sharing life and faith with staff and students within our College community.
We welcome applications from both experienced professionals and enthusiastic newcomers looking to begin their careers. While a Medium or Heavy Rigid (MR/HR) licence and Passenger Transport Driver (PTD) authorisation would be advantageous, they are not essential. Experience in gardening, maintenance, handyman work or a trade background will be highly regarded.
What You Need to SucceedApart from the necessary qualifications, we look for people who are a great cultural fit. Rehoboth is a community of Christians – parents and staff alike – and we prioritise supporting one another in our spiritual walks and encouraging students to explore their faith and discover their God-given gifts.
Because of the deeply Christian nature of our College, we consider all staff to be role models to students, no matter what position they hold. We take your active involvement in a local Protestant Christian church, a deeply committed Christian lifestyle, and ability to articulate your personal Christian faith as evidence of your desire to help build a vibrant a vibrant Christian community at Rehoboth.
You will also need to be an exceptional communicator and have an outstanding ability to work collaboratively with staff and students. This is where your pastoral heart and passion for education will shine.
