Permanent Part Time to Full Time (minimum 40 – 80 hours per fortnight)
IB68 – IB72 | $37.03 - $39.40 per hour

About the Role
We invite applications from Enrolled Nurses to join our team.  With a primary focus on supporting our 9 Residential Care Communities, there may be occasional opportunities to work within our Acute and Sub Acute areas.

This role operates on a 24/7 roster, requiring employees to work across all shifts; AM, PM, and Night Duty to fill staffing shortfalls and unplanned high activity demands.

As a valued member of our team, you will contribute in delivering exceptional care to residents and patients, consistently upholding excellence in clinical practice and providing high quality, patient centred care that reflects our values.

To be considered for this role you must be living in the Ballarat region.  We are unable to consider applicants who are currently studying for this role.

Mandatory Application Requirements:

• Upload a copy of your Diploma of Nursing and academic transcript
• Be able to provide a minimum of 2 referees: 1 being your current direct manager and the other(s) an additional manager or supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate availability and accepting shifts based on availability
• Patient care for a diverse range of residents in varied care settings
• Supporting residents to achieve their individual health and wellbeing goals
• Collaborate with Registered Nurses and Multidisciplinary Teams
• Provide accurate and timely communication with residents, visitors and staff at all levels regarding residents health status
• Maintain accurate care plans and documentation
• Promote a positive and inclusive care environment
• Participate in annual performance reviews
• Commitment to ongoing mandatory education

 
Skills & Experience

• Registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse
• Medication endorsement
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, or willingness to obtain
• Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain
• Demonstrated clinical knowledge and skills
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
