Who we are:
Born is an independent brand and creative agency with offices in Sydney and Adelaide. We believe brands are the great storytellers of our time. They shape what people notice, what they care about and how they see the world. So we like them, and we take them seriously.
We started Born because we also believed there was a better way to run an agency: more open, more real, more collaborative and a lot less performative. We’re currently B&T’s Independent Agency of the Year.
The role
We’re looking for a Junior Designer to join our team in Adelaide.You’ll work across a mix of brand, campaign and digital projects for national clients, supporting the creative team from early ideas through to final execution.It’s an exciting opportunity for someone at the beginning of their career with strong design fundamentals, a sharp eye for detail and a genuine interest in how great ideas come to life. You’ll work closely with senior designers and creative directors to develop brand identities, build design systems, create campaign assets and bring ideas to life across a wide range of touchpoints.We’re looking for someone who’s confident in the basics, thoughtful in their approach and excited to keep developing their craft. You won’t be expected to know everything, but you will be expected to be proactive, open to feedback and keen to get stuck in.
What we’re looking for
A recent design graduate or 1–3 years’ experience in a studio, agency or similar environment.A portfolio demonstrating a solid understanding of design fundamentals and creative thinking.Confidence working across Figma and Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop.An interest in developing ideas into considered, cohesive brand worlds.Curious, proactive and open to feedback, with a genuine desire to keep developing your craft.Detail-oriented, organised and collaborative, with the ability to manage multiple projects and contribute to the wider team.An interest in culture, design and the creative world beyond your own screen.Why Born
