High Reach Forklift/Counterbalance operator – Warehouse allrounder (AM&PM shift)

Due to continued growth, we are seeking experienced High Reach Forklift / Counterbalance Operators with a strong background in general warehouse pick and pack operations to join our team at our Altona facility.

We have multiple positions available across both shifts:

• Full-Time – Day Shift

• Casual – Afternoon Shift (with potential to review ongoing business requirements)

These opportunities are long term, offering stability and an immediate start for suitable candidates.

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5 years’ experience operating High Reach Forklifts (Double Deep Racking essential)

• Demonstrated experience operating Counterbalance Forklifts

• Experience using RF scanners for picking and put-away operations

• Strong forklift operating capability with the ability to maneuver goods safely and efficiently

• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment including lifting, bending, standing and manual handling

• Current LF Forklift Licence

• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong safety-first mindset

• Reliable, proactive and team-oriented attitude

• Previous experience handling food grade products (e.g. dairy) is highly advantageous

• Current driver’s licence and reliable transport

• Full working rights in Australia

• Ability to work flexible hours and occasional overtime when required

Key Responsibilities

• Picking and put-away of stock using RF scanning within Double Deep racking and bulk storage areas

• Loading and unloading delivery vehicles and shipping containers

• Hand unloading of containers

• Restacking pallets as required

• Preparing and staging customer orders accurately and efficiently

• Completing warehouse documentation and paperwork with a high degree of accuracy

• Conducting product and inventory quality checks

• Reporting stock discrepancies, damage or safety concerns

• General warehouse duties including pick, pack and product assembly

• Maintaining housekeeping and cleanliness within warehouse areas

• Complying with all Company OHS policies, procedures and safety requirements

• Communicating effectively with warehouse staff, drivers, depot management and external stakeholders to ensure safe and efficient operations
