Bridge Inspector

We are seeking experienced rope access qualified Bridge Inspectors to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering structural inspections, assessing asset condition, and identifying cost-effective maintenance solutions to support the safety, reliability, and performance of critical transport infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine, reactive, and detailed structural inspections in accordance with NZTA standards
• Collect, analyse, and report asset condition data to support asset management decisions
• Identify and recommend maintenance and renewal solutions for structural assets
• Support the planning and delivery of structural investigations and inspection programmes

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years' experience in structural inspection, engineering, or a relevant trade
• IRATA Rope Access qualification
• At least one PCN/AINDT NDT certification (MT or UT)
• Current Full Driver Licence

Desirable Skills & Certifications:

• Diploma or higher qualification in Civil, Structural or Mechanical Engineering
• AMPP/NACE Level 1 or 2
• NZTA Bridge Inspection Course (or NZTA exemption)
• EWP operation including truck mounted boom lift and confined space certification
