Brew & Bite Maitland is a growing café committed to delivering high-quality food and outstanding customer service. We are seeking a motivated and experienced Cook to join our kitchen team on a permanent full-time basis. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present a variety of breakfast, lunch and café menu items to a consistently high standard. Assist with menu preparation and daily food production. Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with recipes, quality standards and customer requirements. Monitor food quality, portion control and presentation. Maintain high standards of food hygiene and comply with food safety regulations. Assist with ordering, receiving and rotating stock to minimise waste. Clean and maintain kitchen equipment and work areas. Work efficiently during busy service periods while maintaining quality and consistency. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations.

Skills and Experience Required

• Minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification. At least three years of highly relevant work experience. Sound knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety and kitchen operations. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. Strong organisational and time management skills. Reliable, punctual and able to work effectively within a team. Availability to work weekends, evenings and public holidays as required.
