SENIOR SERVICE DESK OFFICER

As a Senior Service Desk Officer based in Adelaide, you will apply a dedicated customer service focus in your technical support and assistance. Your expert knowledge of second level support functions of IT infrastructure, hardware and software, will elevate DCP’s operational efficiency. You will enact resourceful remedies to telecommunication issues and promote effective solutions to improve ICT systems. These practical and innovative qualities will contribute to fortifying the organisation’s infrastructure and workplace ethos through positive guidance.

In this role, you will:

• Resolve support requests related to IT infrastructure adhering to agency goals and procedures
• Manage escalated telecommunication requests by providing valuable technical guidance
• Address all second-level requests through accurate reporting and exemplary customer service
• Maintain and assess service desk policies and guidelines through innovative recommendations
• Offer beneficial mentorship to Service Desk team members through your technological expertise.

About you:

• You possess high-level customer support skills in an ICT environment
• You are proficient in an array of information and operating systems
• You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills when resolving technical issues
• You can operate independently and within a team-based setting
• You are knowledgeable of contemporary service desk and desktop practices, ensuring DCP policies are upheld.
