PART TIME Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer

Constructiv is a CPA practice specialising in three-way forecasting, management accounting, BAS agent services and bookkeeping for SMEs across a wide range of industries.

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Bookkeeper / Accounts Officer to join our team on a part-time basis, with a minimum of 24 hours per week.

• Work with a diverse portfolio of SME clients across a range of industries

• No billable hours – we don't operate on timesheets based around billable targets, allowing you to focus on meaningful client outcomes and quality work

You will be responsible for managing bookkeeping and accounts functions for a number of SME clients across different industries.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Accounts Payable

• Accounts Receivable and debt collection

• Bank and credit card reconciliations

• Payroll

• BAS, PAYGW and Payroll Tax lodgements

• Journal entries

• Balance sheet reconciliations

• General bookkeeping and accounts administration

You will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting our clients with their day-to-day bookkeeping requirements.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• 5+ years' experience in a similar bookkeeping or accounts role

• Strong bookkeeping and accounting knowledge

• The ability to manage multiple tasks across several clients

• A proactive, organised and practical approach

• Excellent attention to detail

• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills

• The ability to work independently while also contributing positively to a team environment

Experience working within an accounting practice or with multiple SME clients would be highly regarded.
