An exciting opportunity exists for a suitably qualified and experienced Senior Project Engineer to join the Town on a permanent full-time basis.

Your new role 

The Senior Project Engineer is responsible for planning and delivering the Capital Works Program, ensuring organisational objectives are achieved with a strong focus on safety, customer satisfaction, cost control, program certainty, and quality outcomes.

The role involves overseeing the engineering design and construction of building, road, drainage, footpath, open space, and other civil infrastructure projects.

What you’ll need to succeed 

• Extensive experience delivering all stages of civil infrastructure projects, including scope definition,
• preparation of Scopes of Work, design management, construction delivery, and contract administration.
• Formal tertiary qualification(s) in Civil Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Project Management, or a related discipline, which will be highly regarded.
• Experience or a sound understanding of the local government operating environment, including the regulatory and governance frameworks that shape commercial activities within the Town.
