About the role
The Bionics Institute is an internationally recognised, not-for-profit medical research institute solving medical challenges with technology. Working alongside world-class researchers, engineers and clinicians, you'll help drive research that improves the lives of people living with Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, hearing loss, chronic pain and more.
Reporting to the Development Manager - Grants, you'll provide expert pre- and post-award grants support across a diverse portfolio of national and international funding opportunities.
Partnering closely with researchers, you'll identify funding opportunities, coordinate competitive grant applications, ensure compliance with funding requirements, support budget development, and manage post-award administration.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced grants professional who enjoys working in a collaborative, purpose-driven research environment.
You bring:
Experience providing pre-award and/or post-award grants support within a university, medical research institute or research-intensive organisation
Experience managing competitive grant applications across Australian and/or international funding schemes
Strong understanding of research funding requirements, compliance and grant administration
Experience preparing and reviewing grant budgets
Exceptional attention to detail, organisation and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
