Senior Consultant, Supply Chain and Operations – Melbourne

The opportunity

As a Senior Consultant, you will work alongside a team of professionals from diverse backgrounds, contributing to the delivery of high-quality client services across our Supply Chain and Operations practice.

You will have exposure to projects spanning Digital Supply Chain, Procurement, Operational Excellence and Manufacturing Excellence. We are seeking individuals who bring experience in some (not necessarily all) of these areas and who either have prior business consulting experience or demonstrate a strong aptitude to develop core consulting skills such as structured problem-solving, analytical thinking, and stakeholder communication.

This role is based in Narrm (Melbourne).

Your key responsibilities 

• Work as part of a growing, high-demand team, supporting clients by applying structured thinking and logical problem-solving to complex business challenges.
• Contribute to a variety of projects across Digital Supply Chain, Procurement, Operational Excellence and Manufacturing Excellence, depending on your experience and development focus.
• Analyse data and business processes to generate insights and support practical, value-driven outcomes for clients.
• Communicate effectively with team members and client stakeholders, including presenting findings and recommendations to senior leaders as your consulting capability develops.

Skills and attributes for success

We are looking for candidates who bring experience or exposure to one or more of the following areas, along with a strong interest in building a career in consulting:

• • Exposure to Digital Supply Chain solutions, such as supply chain IT platforms, analytics and visualisation tools, warehouse or transport management systems, demand planning tools, or emerging technologies (e.g. automation or robotics).
  • Experience or exposure to Procurement in complex organisational environments, including strategic sourcing, supplier management, or process improvement initiatives.
  • Experience or exposure to Operational or Manufacturing Excellence, including continuous improvement, systems thinking, or methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Ideally, you’ll also have the skills and attributes below but don’t worry if you don’t tick all the boxes. We’re interested in your aptitude, attitude and willingness to learn.

• Prior business or management consulting experience, or a demonstrated aptitude and motivation to develop core consulting skills.
• Strong analytical, communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• A willingness to learn, grow, and develop depth in one or more Supply Chain and Operations capability areas over time.

The salary range for this role is AUD 93,500 to AUD 125,000 inclusive of superannuation dependent on skills, experience and work location.
