We are looking to employ a Law Clerk, who is currently studying towards a completion of a Law Degree, that is passionate about helping clients to work from our Campbelltown office.

This is a part time role with hours being 8.30am – 5.00pm, between Monday and Friday and would suit someone who wants to take this role and master it.

The Role:

• Experience handling multiple telephone calls and delegating to appropriate teams;

• Drafting Legal Documents and Statements;

• Brief creation and compilation;

• Preparing Barrister Briefs under instruction and guidance;

• Synthesising evidence into Evidentary statements; 

• High-level data entry and maintaining databases and registers;

• Take clear, informative and concise messages where appropriate;

• Providing assistance to all administrative staff in the performance of administration services; and

• All general ad hoc duties as needed.

The Skills:

• Be well presented, approachable and empathetic;

• Quick to pick up new skills and adapt to new environments;

• Highly organised with an ability to meet deadlines and timeframes under pressure;

• Understanding of correct legal processes;

• Be able to work in a fast-paced, highly dynamic environment with multiple focus points and work to deadlines;

• High level of administrative experience; and 

• Experience in Microsoft Office software.
